Stick & Cheese Snack Plate

The perfect 10-minute plate for the tailgate, the trailhead, or the couch. Built around our Honey BBQ Meat Sticks — sweet, smoky, and impossible to put down.

What You Need

  • 4–6 Stittsworth Honey BBQ Meat Sticks, halved on the bias
  • 3 oz smoked gouda, cubed or sliced
  • 1 crisp apple (Honeycrisp or Fuji), sliced thin
  • Handful of Marcona almonds or candied pecans
  • Local Minnesota honey for drizzling
  • 2 tbsp whole-grain Dijon or hot honey mustard
  • A few sprigs of fresh rosemary (optional, for the look)

How to Build It

  1. Lay your meat stick halves in a fan pattern as the focal point of your board or plate.
  2. Add smoked gouda next to the sticks — the smoke in the cheese mirrors the smoke in the sticks perfectly.
  3. Fan apple slices on the opposite side for brightness and crunch.
  4. Scatter almonds or pecans to fill the gaps.
  5. Add mustard in a small ramekin in the center.
  6. Drizzle everything lightly with local honey and tuck in the rosemary.

The whole thing comes together in under 10 minutes and looks like you spent an hour on it.
